Whether you're thinning out your binder, moving on from a game, or just cleaning house, Esper Cards & Games buys singles from the community. Bring your cards to the shop, and we'll take a look and make you an offer on the spot.

How It Works

  1. Bring your cards in. Stop by during store hours, Tuesday through Sunday, at 380 Old Kingston Rd.
  2. We check them over. Our staff look at each card's condition and current market value.
  3. You get an offer. Take it as cash or store credit. It's your call.

Store credit gets you more for your cards, and you can use it on singles, sealed product, accessories, and event entries.

Cash payouts require valid government-issued photo ID, and you must be 18 or older.

What Trading Card Games Do You Buy?

We currently buy singles for:

  • One Piece Card Game
  • Riftbound

Are There Any Cards You Don't Buy?

Yes. Here's what we're not able to take:

Magic: The Gathering

  • Basic lands, with a few very specific exceptions
  • Art cards
  • Most promotional and promo-stamped cards

Pokémon

  • Energy cards
  • Code cards
  • Bulk commons

Riftbound

  • Basic runes
  • Most promotional cards

One Piece

  • Promo cards
  • Most cards that have rotated out

What Condition Do Cards Need to Be In?

We only buy cards in Near Mint (NM) or Lightly Played (LP) condition.

What Do NM, LP, MP and HP Mean?

These are the standard condition grades used across the trading card industry:

  • NM (Near Mint): Minimal to no wear.
  • LP (Lightly Played): Slight edge wear or minor surface scratches.
  • MP (Moderately Played): Noticeable wear, creasing, or whitening on the edges.
  • HP (Heavily Played): Significant wear, but still tournament legal in a sleeve.
  • DMG (Damaged): Major creases, tears, or water damage.

  • Cash payouts are available to sellers 18+ with valid photo ID.
  • We only buy cards in NM or LP condition.
  • Buy rates are based on current market value and are subject to change.
  • Esper Cards & Games reserves the right to refuse any purchase for any reason.
